The Green Your Life course blends together life coaching techniques with practical action and mindfulness. This blend can help you to overcome climate anxiety, reconnect with nature and learn to live more sustainably.
You will receive the course materials (along with lots of extras) and you are free to work through the material at your own pace. I am only an email away if you need any further help or support. The course can be taken online as a self-study course that you can do in your own time, or as in person classes if you are local to Greater Manchester.
The course will help you to clarify what you want to achieve - overcoming the feeling of overwhelm, re-framing how they feel about the environment and coping with anxiety. We will then look at setting clear goals, breaking them down in a manageable way and bringing in tools to help with this process, as well as practical actions. We will also use a range of relaxation techniques and exercises to stem anxiety.
We begin by identifying your personal core beliefs relating to the environmental crisis and work to re-frame them so that you can overcome your sense of being stuck and overwhelmed. Once you understand the tools and are working on clearing your blocks, we can clarify your goals. We will use specialised tools to get specific and refine what you want; breaking down your goals so that they are achievable and manageable in relation to the bigger picture. Next we will work towards achieving your goals using the techniques of life coaching, alongside practical work. We conclude by learning about how you can maintain your process and troubleshoot resistance that you may encounter. You will also have access to lots of bonus materials to help you on your journey and lots of tips for making your life more green.
